Division 1 Finals 

Tonti Wins It All Over Billmeier

Team Tonti capped off an impressive season with a championship performance, defeating Team Billmeier 43–29 in the Hopewell Basketball Winter Hoops Division 1 Finals.

Jovin Tannan led the way with a game-high 17 points, setting the tone offensively from the start. David Wasden delivered a clutch performance as well, pouring in 16 points to help Team Tonti build and maintain control throughout the contest. The duo combined for 33 of the team’s 43 points in a balanced and determined effort on the biggest stage of the season.

Team Billmeier was powered by a tremendous individual performance from Landon Billmeier, who scored 24 of his team’s 29 points and kept his squad within striking distance. Henry Piche added 5 points in the hard-fought effort.

In the end, Team Tonti’s teamwork, defense, and consistent scoring proved to be the difference as they claimed the Division 1 Winter Hoops Championship

Fornal Wins It All Over Gelfman

Team Fornal captured the Hopewell Basketball Winter Hoops Division 2 Championship with a hard-earned 35–27 victory over Team Gelfman in the finals.

Christian Helmrich led the scoring attack with 15 points, setting the tone offensively throughout the game. Patrick Fornal added 6 key points, while Simeon Williams chipped in 5 points to round out a balanced scoring effort that kept Team Fornal in control down the stretch.

Team Gelfman battled throughout the contest behind Charlie Gelfman’s 9 points and Carter Browen’s 5 points, but they were unable to overcome Team Fornal’s steady execution on both ends of the floor.

With the win, Team Fornal closes out an impressive season by bringing home the Division 2 Winter Hoops Championship.
